12.0 USA and Worldwide Regulations

12.1 United States Federal and State Laws: Worldwide Greeter operates airport meet-and-greet, passenger assistance, and chauffeur transportation services that involve the collection, use, and sharing of personal data. Depending on the service, data, and legal role involved, we may be subject to U.S. federal requirements such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) if personal data of minors is collected in connection with a reservation, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) if protected health information is shared with us, and other federal requirements that may apply to the processing of personal data in connection with reservations, dispatch operations, and support communications. We also consider the requirements of applicable state consumer privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), where they apply to the personal data we process in connection with reservations, dispatch operations, and support communications.

This information may be used to facilitate reservations, assign greeters and chauffeurs, coordinate airport meet-and-greet and passenger assistance services, manage dispatch operations, process payments, respond to support requests, and maintain service quality. Where applicable, travelers may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or opt-out of certain uses of their personal data, subject to applicable legal limitations, verification requirements, and the operational needs of the services we provide.

12.3 International and Cross-Border Data Transfers: Because Worldwide Greeter supports travel services across multiple regions, personal data may be transferred internationally in connection with reservation processing, greeter and chauffeur assignments, dispatch coordination, payment processing, and support communications. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules, or other transfer mechanisms recognized under relevant data protection laws. We also consider the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and comparable global frameworks where they apply to the personal data of travelers, greeters, chauffeurs, or corporate travel administrators.

12.4 GDPR/UK GDPR and Comparable Global Frameworks: For personal data subject to the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or comparable global frameworks, Worldwide Greeter processes personal data as a controller or processor depending on the context of the service. 12.5 Role-Based Access, Service-Provider Safeguards, and Retention: Access to personal data within Worldwide Greeter is restricted to personnel, greeters, chauffeurs, and service providers who need that information to perform their assigned responsibilities. We use reasonable technical, administrative, and contractual safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to support the services we provide, manage reservations and dispatch operations, respond to support requests, maintain records of travel activity, and comply with applicable legal requirements. Where applicable, retention periods may be influenced by jurisdiction-specific requirements, payment-card industry standards, and the need to defend or exercise legal claims.

12.6 Security and Support Communications: We maintain reasonable security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These measures may include encryption, access controls, monitoring, and incident-response procedures tailored to the sensitivity and scope of the personal data involved. When travelers contact us for support, their communications may be recorded, reviewed, or retained for quality assurance, training, and issue resolution. We may also use automated tools to analyze support requests and respond to common inquiries, while reserving the right to escalate complex or jurisdiction-specific matters to specialized personnel for handling.

12.7 Exercising Jurisdiction-Specific Rights: Travelers who wish to exercise jurisdiction-specific rights should submit their request through the contact method we make available for privacy inquiries. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law and our operational capabilities, which may include verifying the identity of the requester, confirming the scope of the request, and balancing the rights of the individual against legal obligations, legitimate business interests, and the need to maintain safe and reliable travel services. Where applicable, we will also inform travelers of any additional steps they must take, any limitations that apply under local law, and any follow-up actions we will take in response to their request.
